T Paul Thomas, an Assistant Professor of Practice and Executive in Residence at Northern Arizona University’s W.A. Franke College of Business, brings over 30 years of leadership expertise. He has been the CEO and president of over a dozen organizations worldwide, ranging from publicly traded firms to technological startups.

Paul filled a void he noticed early on in his career by writing a book that draws from his experience as a CEO. His views were initially presented in a popular monthly column called “Ask the CEO,” he continues to mentor and advise organizations in positions such as director of the Northern Arizona Center for Nonprofit Entrepreneurship and CEO of the Northern Arizona Leadership Alliance (NALA). With degrees in business administration and education leadership from Northern Arizona University, Paul is committed to developing leaders and improving educational opportunities in his community, where he lives with his wife, Jill, and their puppy, Riley.
